Aylesbury Cycling Club

The club has been in existence for over 50 years & continues to be the only cycling club in the Aylesbury Vale catering for regular weekend club rides, training sessions, racing, touring etc.
We meet at 9:00 a.m. every Saturday & Sunday at the Aqua Vale, Park Street, Aylesbury.
Our weekly Saturday club run includes experienced, fast paced road cyclists who ride for about 3 hours & cover approximately 50 miles. Sunday rides are slightly more sedate, cover a similar distance over various routes & may include a tea stop at 11.00 a.m.
Members sometimes have "other commitments" & choose to return earlier, so you may not have to come back alone if you wish to do a shorter ride.
"Mainstay Margaret" is always there come rain or shine, so please feel free to come along & introduce yourself.

On Saturday 4th July we have another of our bi-weekly 'slowest-cyclist' paced group rides. Cyclists new to these Saturday morning group rides are telling us how much they're enjoying them. Here's an example:
"Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the ride on Saturday....Nice social bunch and lots of support when I struggled on a couple of hills...I'll definitely be back for more!"
It will be a route of about 35 miles starting at 9.00 a.m. from Aqua Vale.
Please watch this space for further details or contact the Club Secretary.
N.B.Both Saturday group rides welcome cyclists riding with us for the first time.
However, from past experience we'd recommend that everyone, other than those coming to us as a recent active member of another road cycling club, should initially ride with the 'slowest-cyclist' group.
On Thursday 2nd July the club will be holding its 8th 'Summers Evening of Suffering & Pain'. We're alternating between a local 1 mile circuit & a quiet hill to do repetitions. Please make a weekly note in your diary through to the end of August & watch this space for further details or contact the Club Secretary to get on the emailing list,
